Hackers discover way to access Google accounts without a password

Researchers from security firm CloudSEK have discovered a hack that allows cyber criminals to access Google accounts without passwords. The exploit, first revealed in October 2023, involves a type of malware using third-party cookies to bypass two-factor authentication. Google Chrome is currently cracking down on third-party cookies, and Google recommends users enable Enhanced Safe Browsing to guard against such threats.
