‘NHS Cyber Security Batsignal’ peer-to-peer alerting system to launch
Digital health communities aim to launch a peer-to-peer communication system for the NHS to alert it of security breaches. The “NHS Cyber Security Batsignal” will be unveiled at an information security conference. It will provide alerts to NHS digital leaders so they can share information on how to respond, even when official channels are incapacitated. The “Batsignal” was created by the Chief Clinical Information Officer and Health CIO Networks, which includes representation from all NHS trusts.
