Barclays’ Mobile Malware Alert; Gen Z’s High Scam Susceptibility

Barclays has warned its customers about the growing threat of mobile malware, which is malware hidden in applications that steal sensitive information. Barclays recommends taking several protective measures such as regular device updates, two-factor authentication and the use of anti-virus software. Separately, a Virgin Media O2 survey has found that Gen Z Britons are three times more likely to fall for scams than Baby Boomers.
