Mirai-based NoaBot Botnet Targeting Linux Systems with Cryptominer

NoaBot, a cryptomining malware, is currently targeting Linux servers, leveraging weak SSH connections and installing cryptocurrency mining software to generate digital coins. Unlike Mirai, which is compiled using UClibc code library, NoaBot is categorised as an SSH scanner or generic Trojan. Akamai advises administrators to protect their systems by updating software, enforcing strong passwords, enabling two-factor authentication, and monitoring for unauthorised activity.
