Massive data breach rocks UK Hospital Group

A cybercriminal group called ALPHV, also known as BlackCat, has said it has breached the data of one of the UK’s largest hospital groups, Barts Health NHS Trust. The group says it gained unauthorised access to seven terabytes of internal documents, putting the data of millions of patients at risk. The group has previously deployed ransomware, but it is unclear at this stage if they have done the same in this attack.
