HealthLink absorbs Telstra’s eReferrals, healthcare messaging biz

Health IT organisation HealthLink has purchased the eReferrals and health messaging arm of Telstra Health. The move is part of HealthLink’s growing investment in API and FHIR-based messaging solutions. The firm has partnered with the Australian Department of Health and Aged Care and most Australian state and territory governments to develop eReferrals. Meanwhile, Telstra has said the sale aligns with its strategy to develop clinical and interoperable solutions.
