Behind Singapore’s widespread AI adoption in public health

Singapore is applying AI to improve healthcare, particularly in disease detection and patient outcomes. This is driven by a close relationship between providers and the Ministry of Health, as well as the work of national health agency, Synapxe. Two new AI initiatives from Synapxe include a medical imaging platform, AimSG, and a chronic disease detection tool, ACE-AI. AI adoption in Singapore’s healthcare has been significant, with the technology currently used for improving system efficiency and patient outcomes.
