New study proves the efficacy of telepsychiatry for anxiety and depression

A study reveals the effectiveness of telepsychiatry in treating anxiety and depression, with rural areas showing similar outcomes to urban ones. The study, conducted by Talkiatry, found that 67% of patients no longer had significant anxiety symptoms and 62% no longer had depression symptoms after an average of five appointments over 15 weeks. However, it also highlighted the need for mental health care to be covered by more insurers.
