Who is really behind the UK Emergency Alerts system – and why you might have not got the alert – SystemTek

The UK’s new Emergency Alerts service was tested nationally, but problems surfaced with a number of people failing to receive the alert. The testing phase was mainly handled by Fujitsu, which has been controversial due to past issues with the UK government. There were also claims – which have so far proven unfounded – that Infosys, a company linked to the UK prime minister’s wife, was involved. Authorities plan to review why some mobile phones did not receive the alert during the trial.
