Digital nutrition registration aiding pop health efforts in Sweden
The registration of nutrition for elderly individuals is being digitalised in Sweden in an attempt to reduce rates of malnutrition and help them to remain mobile and independent for longer. Presented at HIMSS24, the scheme was designed to tackle a decreasing workforce and an ageing population of increasingly dependent individuals. The digitised system also aims to tackle problems of social isolation. Helle Sörensen spearheads the initiative at Ostersunds Municipality in Sweden.
