UK Government Sets Out Vision for NHS Cybersecurity

The UK government plans to enhance cyber-resilience within the health and social care sector by 2030 through a new strategy. This initiative will encompass improved cyber-risk management, data protection, and incident response. Although full details are pending, the strategy is built on five pillars: identifying critical disruption, unifying the sector, engaging leaders and employees, embedding security in emerging tech, and supporting organizations. The plan follows the National Cyber Security Centre’s Cybersecurity Assessment Framework.
