FDA approves sleep apnea tech from EnsoData, Samsung

Health tech firms are focusing on leveraging algorithms, machine learning, and wearable sensors for improved care. Recent innovations include an FDA-approved AI algorithm from EnsoData for sleep disorder diagnosis and a Samsung Galaxy Watch feature to guide patients to sleep studies. Federal agencies have reported recall-related deaths for PAP machines, and Mount Sinai has been grante a $4.1 million grant to develop AI for patient risk profiling.
