FDA releases FAQs on new requirements for medical devices vulnerable to cybersecurity threats

As of today, the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 mandates that medical devices requiring FDA approval must meet specific cybersecurity standards if they are internet-connected and hold software or technology susceptible to cybersecurity threats. More details are available in the FDA FAQs.
