AIIMS Delhi unveils new oncology AI for early cancer detection and more AI briefs from India
The All India Institute Of Medical Science has developed an AI system for early cancer detection. The tool was trained on 500,000 images from 1,500 breast and ovarian cancer cases and has been applied to validate similar cases at five hospitals. Additionally, Aster CMI Hospital, Singapore-based Qritive and Amrita Hospital have introduced AI solutions for diagnosing Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, modernising pathology and developing robot-assisted cancer treatment techniques. Meanwhile, Medulance has launched a 5G-enabled Smart Medical Room in Gurgaon.
