UK Government Launches Cybersecurity Service For Healthcare Organizations
The UK Government has created a new service called CareCERT (Care Computing Emergency Response Team), to be run by the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC), a sub-division of the Department of Health. The service, which is set to go-live in January 2016, will provide cyber security advice to the National Health Service (NHS) and the wider UK healthcare sector, including incident response capabilities and alerts about potential threats.
