WebMD acquires Healthwise to bolster patient engagement and growth

WebMD Health has acquired the operational assets of Healthwise, a non-profit that develops patient engagement technology. The terms of the deal were undisclosed, but WebMD will incorporate Healthwise’s content, products, technology, client relationships and trademarks into its Ignite platform. Healthwise was ranked number one for patient education in value-based care in the 2024 Best in KLAS Report.
