Fines ‘floor’ for A&E breaches dropped in new Standard Contract

The National Health Service (NHS) England has stated that its fines for A&E breaches have been reduced from 92% to 85% in its new 2015-2016 standard contract. In addition, the organisation has also stated that the sanction per excess breach of the A&E four-hour wait time has reduced from £200.00 to £120.00.
