Cybersecurity Vulnerability Discovered in EEG Medical Device NeuroWorks Natus

A newly discovered critical vulnerability in NeuroWorks Natus Electroencephalogram (EEG) Software could allow cybercriminals to take control of affected medical devices and steal data. Trustwave SpiderLabs found the flaw, which relates to the software’s default credentials, and could be used to remotely execute code. The vulnerability is yet to be patched and users are advised to update to the latest version of the software immediately.
