Cassidy, Baldwin Introduce Bill to Secure Health Care Infrastructure

US Senators Bill Cassidy and Tammy Baldwin have proposed the Protecting and Transforming Cyber Health Care (PATCH) Act to protect the US healthcare system from cyber attacks, like ransomware, targeting medical devices and networks. The Act would set cybersecurity requirements for manufacturers, establish a Software Bill of Materials for devices and require a plan to deal with cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
