British Airways, BBC and Boots staff have data stolen in breach

Personal data from staff at the BBC, British Airways, Boots and other companies were stolen in a major cyber attack on payroll provider Zellis. A vulnerability in third-party file transfer system, MOVEit was exploited in the breach. The Information Commissioner’s Office said it is looking into the incident. Details such as names, addresses, national insurance numbers and bank details are feared to have been exposed. The attack was reportedly linked to a notorious Russian ransomware group.
