Planned community Lake Nona collects residents’ data for longitudinal health study

The Tavistock Group’s SVP of brand experience and innovation, Juan Santos, highlighted the integration of health, technology, and community living in Lake Nona, Orlando, during the Venture Connect Program at HIMSS24. The community, dubbed ‘Medical City’, focuses on the physical and mental wellbeing of its residents. Living facilities such as WHIT (a Wellness Home Built on Innovation and Technology) make use of data-driven tech to create a healthier living environment. They are also aiming to connect physical and digital data to better analyze and improve residents’ quality of life.
