63% of Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Tracked by CISA Are on Healthcare Organization Networks

Claroty’s report has revealed that approximately 63% of medical devices connected to hospital networks have known exploited vulnerabilities and 23% have at least one. The report, unveiled at the annual HIMSS24 conference, also highlighted that 22% of hospitals have devices bridging guest and internal networks, posing a significant security risk. Additionally, 14% of the devices operate on unsupported or end-of-life operating systems, increasing the likelihood of exploitation.
