Amber cold weather alert issued for Leicestershire as -7C predicted

An amber cold weather health alert has been issued in Leicestershire and across England by the UK Health Security Agency. The alert warns that health services could be disrupted for an extended period and those over 65 or with medical conditions are most at risk. Forecasted temperatures for the week ahead are low, but are expected to feel much colder.
