British ambulances unable to access patient records system following cyberattack

Ortivus, a Swedish software company, has been affected by a cyberattack, leaving two British ambulance services without electronic patient records. Although the nature of the attack wasn’t disclosed, the company indicated patients hadn’t been directly affected. Calls to 999 aren’t believed to be impacted but manual systems may cause delays. The affected ambulance services cover parts of southern England.
