Patient data held by hacker group after cyber attack, health board confirms

A hacker group, INC Ransom, reportedly has a small number of patient data from a cyber attack on NHS Dumfries and Galloway. The data was revealed on the group’s dark web blog; however, the Scottish Government claimed the incident was contained to one health board. Patients with leaked data will be contacted, while patient services remain unaffected.
