Southern Water customers affected by cyber attack

Southern Water has announced that a cyber attack has potentially compromised the personal and financial data of between 5-10% of its customers. The company, which supplies water to 2.5 million customers, has apologised and is working with cybersecurity experts and regulators. According to an email sent to customers, the stolen information may be sold on the dark web.
