UC Irvine’s AI-powered conversational health agent is ready for developers
The University of California Irvine’s Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing is developing artificial intelligence (AI) to improve patient care. Amir Rhamani, a professor at the university, is developing openCHA, a conversational health agent driven by AI. Using a large language model, openCHA aims to provide personalised health data analyses and recommendations, helping users make more informed health decisions. The project is in its early stages and aims to create a toolkit for developing conversational health agents.
