High Wycombe school hit by cyber attack

Cressex Community School in High Wycombe, UK, remained open despite a cyber attack on its IT systems on 22 March. The school activated its Cyber Response Plan and contacted their Data Protection Officer, in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018 / GDPR. Specialist organisations were also used for support.
