Foreign Office target of ‘serious cyber incident’

The UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) was the target of a “serious cyber-security incident,” according to a tender document published on a government website. BAE Systems Applied Intelligence was sought for urgent support, but the FCDO did not comment on the matter. Despite this, it is believed that no classified or highly sensitive material was breached.
