Patient data held by hacker group after cyber attack, health board confirms

Cyber criminals INC Ransomware claims it has three terabytes of stolen data from NHS Scotland, though the Scottish Government states the data is confined to the database of one health board. The group recently posted some of its acquired data as proof. The affected board plans to inform individuals whose data has been breached. Police Scotland and the National Cyber Security Centre are continuing investigations.
