NHS board warns of further data release risk

NHS Dumfries and Galloway have alerted patients to the risk of more stolen personal data being leaked following a cyber attack last month. Cybercriminal group, INC Ransom posted a threat to release three terabytes of stolen patient data on a dark web blog. This data includes hospital records, scans, emails, and clinical reports. People are being warned to remain vigilant and report any suspicious approaches to the police.
