Hackers threaten to publish huge cache of NHS data

A ransomware group named INC Ransom has threatened to release three terabytes of data stolen from NHS Dumfries and Galloway unless its demands are met. The group has already released a “proof pack” containing sensitive patient information. The health board, working in conjunction with local and national authorities, is making efforts to prevent any further data leakage and to deter future cyber attacks.
