Judge rules ‘no breach of duty’ by Aberdeen maternity staff after newborn baby left severely disabled

A mother in Aberdeen, referred to as SD, has lost a legal battle against NHS Grampian. She claimed that the negligence of staff at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital led to her son, LD, becoming severely disabled due to an umbilical cord complication.
