TV streaming service provider Roku revealed it suffered two separate cyberattacks involving credential stuffing, which compromised around 591K user accounts. Unauthorized purchases were made from some accounts. Roku reassured its systems were not compromised and that the login credentials for these attacks came from external sources. It implemented various measures like password resets, refunding unauthorized transactions, and reinforced two-factor authentication for all accounts.
