DAIXIN Team Claims Data Breach

The DAIXIN Team ransomware group has attacked Omni Hotels & Resorts, reportedly infiltrating the hotel chain’s systems and allegedly stealing data such as visitor records since 2017. They’ve threatened to leak this data. Since the attack on March 29th, the hotel chain has been dealing with widespread IT disruption. The hotel chain is working on a comprehensive investigation into the breach along with cybersecurity experts. By date of publication, Omni Hotels & Resorts has yet to confirm the ransomware group’s claim.
