Uber Health teams with insurers on maternal health in Georgia

Uber Health is partnering with the Georgia Primary Care Association and Amerigroup Georgia to bolster maternal health in the state. This includes providing transportation for expectant mothers to attend health appointments and giving access to food and other necessities. The initiative is part of a pilot programme launched in late 2022 aimed at tackling high maternal mortality rates in Georgia, and addressing disparities in health outcomes due to local policies.
