Roku security breach: 576,000 accounts affected by cyberattack, company says
Approximately 576,000 Roku accounts were hacked using a “credential stuffing” technique, the company disclosed. This is the streaming service’s second security breach this year. While less than 400 accounts were used to make purchases, hackers could not access sensitive data and all affected accounts will be refunded. Roku will be adding two-factor authentication to all accounts and will contact affected users.
