NHS Dumfries and Galloway bosses say “significant release” of hackers releasing more patient data

A group called INC Ransom says it has stolen a large amount of data from NHS Scotland in a cyber attack, and may release more confidential patient data. NHS Dumfries and Galloway was targeted last month. Health board chief Julie White is urging vigilance and says the criminals may hold personal clinical records. She advises anyone facing attempts to access their data to contact the police.
