NHS Dumfries and Galloway sorry for cyber attack anxiety

Dumfries and Galloway health board has apologised over anxiety caused by a “targeted and continuing” cyberattack, which began a month ago. The NHS organisation said a “very large amount” of patient and staff data was accessed but not deleted or altered. No operations or appointments were cancelled due to the attack which had little impact on public services, though it did affect staff.
