Cyber attack anxiety apologies – DNG Online Limited

NHS Dumfries and Galloway has apologized following a major cyber attack that accessed significant amounts of staff and patient data. No operations or appointments were cancelled due to the attack, but it did impact staff working arrangements. The health board’s IT systems are running normally and measures are being taken to prevent further breaches. The attackers have published a ‘proof pack’ indicating they have stolen data from atleast six patients.
