Monash Health caught up in ZircoDATA ransomware data breach

Monash Health disclosed that it was affected by a ransomware attack on record management company ZircoDATA in February. The healthcare provider’s exposed data includes historical documents from 1970 to 1993 related to family violence and sexual assault support units. ZircoDATA, responsible for notifying clients, is being supported by the National Cyber Security Coordinator in identifying victims and dealing with incident impacts.
