Cyber Threat Attribution At FireEye

FireEye, the intelligence-led security firm, has made use of artificial intelligence (AI) to manage the vast amounts of data it encounters when dealing with cyber threat clusters. Its goal is to match up cybersecurity threats and clusters in a bid to predict the actions of threat groups. The firm has used machine learning (ML) to do this, developing an ML tool, ATOMICITY, which allows the firm to run automatic similarity checks across thousands of uncategorised threat groups and spot trends in their movements.
