Data stolen in cyber attack on health board published on dark web
A cyber attack on Scotland’s NHS Dumfries and Galloway has exposed patient and staff data, some of which has since been released on the dark web. The attack, which began at the end of February, led to initial data releases in March, with threats of more to follow. The health board has confirmed affected data has now been shared on line and has set up a helpline for anxious patients.
