Why senior living is such a vulnerable target for cyberattacks

A lack of network security and human error makes nursing homes frequent target for cyberattacks, according to cybersecurity firm NordLayer. These breaches often result in personal and medical data being stolen, for use in fraud or identity attacks. To combat this, the US Department of Health and Human Services has launched tools to educate nursing home staff and mitigate cyber threats.
