Epic’s EHR market share gains continue, KLAS report shows

The U.S. Acute Care EHR Market Share 2024 report from KLAS highlighted that Epic Systems has established a strong lead in the electronic health record (EHR) market. It added 153 acute care clients in 2023 and had a more significant net market share increase than any other EHR vendors. In comparison, its rival Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) witnessed the largest net hospital loss on record, and Meditech saw a decline in its customer retention rate.
