Euroking patient safety alert: 13 trusts switch supplier

More than a dozen NHS trusts are planning to stop using Euroking’s maternity electronic patient record (EPR) software due to safety risks related to technical issues. An alert from NHS England issued to trusts in December 2023 said that the system may overwrite previously recorded data. There’s no evidence of harm to patients so far, but all trusts have been advised to ensure their configuration is safe by June 2024.
