National Records of Scotland data published during NHS Dumfries and Galloway cyber attack

Cybercrime gang INC Ransom accessed a significant amount of data from the NHS Dumfries and Galloway network during a cyber-terrorist attack in February. National Records of Scotland confirmed that the data, including consultant patient letters, test results and x-rays, was published on the dark web. NHS Dumfries and Galloway warned of the risk of the data being further accessed, duplicated or shared online. Police Scotland has advised against accessing or sharing the leaked data.
