National Records of Scotland data published in NHS cyber attack

National Records of Scotland (NRS) chief executive, Janet Egdell, confirms a live criminal investigation into a cyber attack that initially disrupted services. NRS is working with multiple agencies including Police Scotland and NHS Dumfries in the investigation, and a special email address has been created for public inquiries. She confirms systems are fully operational.
