HHS pledges $50M for autonomous vulnerability management solution for hospitals

As healthcare organizations face increased cyber threats, ARPA-H announced the UPGRADE program to develop a vulnerability management platform for healthcare IT teams. The initiative will simulate/evaluate risks, develop and test patches, and deploy them with minimal disruption. The effort will involve equipment manufacturers, cybersecurity experts, and hospital IT staff, and investment in the project is expected to exceed $50 million. Proposals can be submitted until June 18, 2024.
