Cyber attack hits London hospital trusts and GPs

A ransomware cyber attack has hit Synnovis, a pathology partnership between two London hospital trusts and SYNLAB, resulting in some services being cancelled or redirected. As a consequence, many GPs across six London boroughs have been affected. Synnovis, alongside IT experts from the NHS, is working to assess the impact of the incident and stated they are taking appropriate actions.
